Lions Club Donates Thanksgiving Meals to
Wartburg Home Care Patients

POSTED: JANUARY 2012

The Mt. Vernon Lions Club continued its long-standing tradition of providing the fixings for a turkey dinner to The Wartburg’s home care patients in need. This year, the ingredients for twenty meals, including a turkey, were sorted and put in cartons, which were delivered to patients by volunteers from The Wartburg’s staff.

The Lions Club is proud to call itself the world’s largest service club organization with 46,000 clubs and 1.35 million members internationally. The Mount Vernon Lions Club meets the first and third Thursday of each month at Buona Sera Ristorante, 546 Gramatan Avenue, in Mt. Vernon.
