ArtsWestchester Announces
Free Ticket Contests

As part of its Music in the Air initiative, ArtsWestchester is giving away free tickets to Playland and the Caramoor International Music Festival. Free tickets will be given throughout the summer in two separate categories:

1) One family four-pack to Playland (Rye) (unlimited rides for four people) (one drawing every Thursday through August 26th) or

2) Two tickets to a concert (of winner’s choosing—subject to availability) at the Caramoor International Music Festival (Katonah) (one drawing every Thursday through August 5th).

Each week’s lucky winner of the tickets to the Caramoor International Music Festival may choose to attend the performance of their choice from the dozens of world-class performances that Caramoor is presenting through August 11th.

Music in the Air is a marketing initiative of ArtsWestchester and Westchester County Government, designed to make the public aware of the hundreds of free and affordable outdoor concerts happening in Westchester during the summer months. To this end, ArtsWestchester has compiled an easily accessible database of more than 250 + free and affordable concerts presented in local parks, recreational areas, and cultural sites on its new web-site www.artswestchester.org.

The Music in the Air section of ArtsWestchester.org includes everything people need to know about these concerts. The guide includes the dates, times and locations of the concerts, links to the musical groups that are performing, and maps to each concert. Music in the Air is supported with funds from Westchester County Government and a Corporate Sponsorship from Swiss Re.

“The economic climate has required residents to seek out more affordable entertainment options,” explains ArtsWestchester Executive Director Janet T. Langsam. “Fortunately, here in Westchester, the summer months bring hundreds of great events that allow residents to leave their wallets at home. Most of these events are free and our online “Music in the Air” guide puts all the information in one place.”

How the Contests Work: Win a Family 4-pack to Playland: (One winner drawn every Thursday through August 26th). Visit www.artswestchester.org; on the upper right hand corner of the page click on “create profile”; fill out profile form; and you will automatically be entered to win the Playland Family 4-pack for that week
Win 2 Tickets to the Caramoor International Music Festival (Concert of your choice—subject to availability) (One winner drawn every Thursday through August 5). To be entered to win, ‘Save an Event’ to your profile on www.artswestchester.org ! Visit www.artswestchester.org; on the upper right hand corner of the page click on “create profile”; fill out profile form; click on ‘Things to Do,’ search through hundreds of events across dozens of categories until you find a perfect activity; and when you find the event of your choice, save it to your profile to be entered to win.
